My son is 6 months today and have stopped breas...

My son is 6 months today and have stopped breastfeeding just over 1 week ago. Both my breasts now feel very lumpy, like the milk ducts on the outer part of my breasts have gone hard. Has anyone else had such an experience, and when will they go down? I read that lumpy breasts are normal after weaning, but I want to know how long it lasts. Thanks
